In the five-inning affair, Switz scored eight runs in the third inning to go up 11-2 then added two more in the fourth to win by 11.
For the Lady Pacers, Kelsi Konkle batted in three runs on a single, double and a sacrifice. Brooke Todd tripled and singled with a ribbie and Hope Tankersley singled and doubled with an RBI. Kassidy Murray was the winning pitcher giving up five hits while striking out two. Both runs allowed were earned.
Switzerland County will play Southwestern in Tuesday’s semifinal at 5 pm. That game will be followed by Milan and North Decatur.
