Josh was born and raised in Switzerland County. After graduating from Indiana University Bloomington, Josh had a brief stint in Indianapolis before moving back to Vevay. Along with his wife Thera and children, Josh returned to Vevay where he became active in leadership roles serving as a President of the Vevay Town Council and currently serving as a Switzerland County Commissioner.
Coach Kitts was an four-sport star who finished her career at Switzerland with 1,134 points and 526 rebounds, both second on the school's all-time list. Kitts went on to play at Division I Evansville after leaving Vevay but injuries hampered her career. As soon as she got to college she knew she wanted to coach and she knew she wanted to coach back home.
Ryan Jesop comes from a football background. A Special Teams Player of the Year and letter-winner at Evansville Reitz High School, he earned Preferred Walk-on status at Ball State University.
An injury curtailed his collegiate career after only two years, but he played semi-professional football in North Carolina, and there caught the eye of professional scouts from the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. Despite these offers, his true passion was teaching and coaching and he is proud to pursue those endeavors here in Pacer Nation.
